Altar servers and parishioners gathered in prayer
Serving and praying together.

Welcome to Mary, Mother of Mercy Pastorate. You may be new to the area, looking for a parish for your family, returning after time away, or exploring Catholic faith for the first time. Whatever brings you, you are welcome at Mass, and our priests and staff are glad to answer your questions.

Plan your first visit

Our four churches serve Sauk City, Roxbury, Mazomanie, and Merrimac. Each church page includes its address, directions, and worship schedule. Choose the location and celebration that suit your visit. Check the current schedule before traveling, especially on holy days or during holiday weeks.

At Mass the word of God is proclaimed, and the one sacrifice of Christ on the Cross is made present on the altar. You can follow the congregation’s posture as you are comfortable; please remain seated if standing or kneeling is difficult. If you are unfamiliar with the prayers, it is fine to listen. Holy Communion is received by Catholics who are properly prepared; anyone not receiving is welcome to remain in the pew in prayer.

Bring your family

Children share in the life of the Church from the day of their Baptism. Families are welcome at Mass, including those with babies and young children. If your family needs particular assistance, contact us before your visit so we can discuss what will help. Please also ask the office about the best entrance, parking, or step-free access at your chosen church.

Worship in Spanish

Spanish-language celebrations are identified in our worship schedule. Please tell the office if you would prefer to speak with someone in Spanish. We can help connect you with sacramental preparation and parish life.

Register as a parishioner

To register your household, contact the parish office. Tell us which church you attend and ask for the current parish registration process. You can also ask about updating an address or transferring records.

Flocknote is our email and text communication service. Subscribing helps you receive announcements; it does not register your household in the parish.

Grow in the faith

Learn about family formation, becoming Catholic, or ways to serve. If you are unsure where to begin, contact the office and ask to speak with a priest.
