Family Faith Formation
Handing on the Catholic faith to the next generation.
Parents are the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith, a duty they accepted at their child’s Baptism. The parish supports them by handing on the faith of the Church: the Creed, the sacraments, the commandments, and prayer.
Learning at church and at home
The parish’s family formation approach brings together community gatherings, age-appropriate learning, and activities that carry the faith into the home. Family prayer, faithful attendance at Sunday Mass, and the practice of the faith at home help children live what they learn.
The arrangement for your child depends on age, prior formation, and sacramental preparation. Contact the director to discuss your family rather than assuming that one published timetable applies to every church or age group.
Register for the current year
For the 2026–2027 year, ask Jenny Bellinder for the current calendar, registration instructions, meeting locations, and any forms or fees.
Tell us your children’s ages and whether they have already received Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion, or Confirmation. Please ask how to provide any needed records securely. Families joining during the year are encouraged to contact us to discuss the appropriate next step.
Preparing for the sacraments
Preparation for First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation includes more than choosing a celebration date. The director can explain the current preparation, parent participation, and records needed for your child. We will help you understand the path before you make arrangements.
