St. Norbert Parish in Roxbury is one of the three parishes of Mary, Mother of Mercy Pastorate. Its patron, St. Norbert of Xanten, founded the Premonstratensian canons and was a tireless preacher of devotion to the Most Holy Eucharist. Whether you live nearby or come from another town of the pastorate, you are welcome at Mass.

Community life in Roxbury

The Council of Catholic Women and Activities Team offer ways to meet fellow parishioners and support local parish life. Current bulletin announcements include fellowship after Mass, seasonal fundraising, and community meals in the parish hall. These are invitations to participate as well as opportunities to volunteer. Contact Juanita Wipperfurth through the staff directory for the current organizer or local-office information. Consult the bulletin for event dates rather than assuming that an older notice is still current.

Plan a first visit

Use the address and directions on this page to find the church, and check the dated schedule before traveling. Ask the local office which entrance to use, where visitors should park, and whether an accessible route suits your needs. Children and families are welcome. If you are unfamiliar with Mass, you may follow the congregation as you are comfortable and remain seated when needed. Tell the office if you would appreciate help in Spanish.

Our shared future

Our pastorate is preparing to become one parish. The current church community remains the place to begin for local questions, while the pastorate office can help with registration, formation, and pastoral needs. Read the dated merger information for confirmed updates. To receive local announcements, subscribe to the relevant Flocknote group; contact the office separately to register your household in the parish.
